This is the first post in the kitchen blog. This blog is created so I can share my love of cooking and baking with family and friends. My favourite room in my house is my kitchen. This is the heart of the home. The place where you can solve life's problems over a cup a tea, cooking a great meal or a hug slab of cake. This blog will only be dedicate to the creations of my kitchen.
The blog name came from my daughters nickname. My brother calls her Magpie as when they are together they chatterboxes. My dream is to one day own a bakery called Magpies but for now I will settle for a blog!
